Why people hand us the keys
Peak Condition Detailing is a small mobile operation based in Castle Rock and serving Douglas County. Every vehicle is done by hand, by the person who answers the phone!
Hi — I'm Nicholas Hartl, a high school student right here in Castle Rock. I started Peak Condition Detailing because I wanted work I could do with my hands, and that left room to be creative. I treat every vehicle like it's my own — and I don't call a detail finished until it's one I'd be proud to hand back.
Most of what we work on is daily drivers, work trucks and family vehicles, plus the occasional weekend car — nothing is too ordinary for the full treatment. Colorado is hard on all of them: sun at altitude bakes dashboards and trim, magnesium chloride eats at paint and wheels all winter, and red dirt covers everything in between. That's why we detail.
What you can count on
- A firm price before we start. You approve the number after we've seen the vehicle — never a surprise at the end.
- We bring the kit, you bring the tap. Every product, tool and machine comes with us — we just plug into your outdoor spigot and outlet.
- After school and weekends. Weekdays start at 3:30 PM; at weekends you pick a morning start between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM — and you only need to be there at the start and the end.
- A walkaround before we leave. Anything you're not happy with gets fixed on the spot.
- Pay when it's done. Cash, Venmo or card. Never up front.

Questions
Before you book
Yes — this is the one thing we need from you. We bring every product, tool and machine, but we run off your outdoor spigot and an exterior outlet. Both need to reach the vehicle. If you're not sure yours do, say so when you book and we'll work it out before the appointment rather than on the day.
Because a two-seat commuter and a three-row SUV that hauls a Labrador are genuinely different jobs. The listed price is the starting point for a well-kept sedan. When you book, you'll get a firm quote based on your vehicle size and condition before anything is confirmed.
This is Colorado, so it happens. Light rain or cold isn't usually a problem. For hail, heavy snow or high wind we'll call you the morning of and move to the next available slot at no charge.
Only at the start and the end. We need access to the vehicle and keys to begin, and we like to walk it with you before we leave. In between, go about your day.
When the job is done, never up front — you approve the finished work first. Cash, Venmo or card, whichever suits you.
