Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated September 2026. Plain English, because you shouldn't need a lawyer to find out what happens to your phone number.
Owner: this is a solid starting policy that matches what
the site actually does, but it is not legal advice. Have it reviewed
before launch. Updated when Google Ads conversion tracking was added;
update it again if you add analytics or change how bookings are handled.
Everything you must check is flagged in README.md.
What we collect
Only what you type into the booking or quote forms:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The service address where the vehicle will be detailed
- Vehicle details — year, make, model and size
- Your preferred date and time window
- Any notes you choose to add
We do not ask for payment card details through this website. Payment is taken in person after the work is finished.
Why we collect it
To quote your job, confirm an appointment, turn up at the right address, and contact you about that booking. That's the whole list. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers below who help deliver the site.
Who processes it
- Form delivery. Form submissions are handed to a third-party form service, which passes them to our email inbox. They process the data on our behalf and under their own privacy policy.
- Email. Your message sits in our email inbox, hosted by our email provider.
- Hosting. The website is served by a static hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and diagnostics.
- Fonts and scripts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, an animation library from a public CDN, and Google's advertising tag (see Cookies and tracking below). Those requests reveal your IP address to those providers, as any web request does.
- Map. The service-area map is embedded from OpenStreetMap, which receives a request from your browser when the map loads.
Cookies and tracking
This site runs Google Ads conversion tracking. If you arrived here from one of our Google ads and then book a detail, Google is told that a booking happened and roughly what it was worth, so we can see which ads are worth paying for. That involves cookies set by Google.
We do not receive your identity from Google, and we don't use the data for anything except judging whether our advertising is working. We run no other analytics, and we don't sell or share your details with anyone for advertising.
You can opt out at Google Ad Settings, or block it with any ad blocker or by refusing third-party cookies in your browser. None of that affects your booking — the form works exactly the same either way.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking records are kept while they're useful for servicing your vehicle and for the ordinary business records we're required to keep. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we're legally required to keep it.
Your choices
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Ask us to stop contacting you and we'll stop. Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including access, correction, deletion and data portability; contact us and we'll honour them.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging vehicle services. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we don't claim otherwise — but we don't hold more than we need, which is the most effective protection there is.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your information will be made clear on this page.
